The purpose of the PGP at BSU is to engage teacher education students in online learning activities that are aimed at increasing their knowledge, skill, and abilities in effective teaching in the 21st century.  PGP activities are created with the intent of better preparing future educators.  Critical themes guide the PGP concept at BSU, including (1) exceptionalities, (2) reading across the curriculum, (3) technology, (5) behavior and classroom management, and (6) professional development in the content areas.
